Notice on Temporary Closure of Consular Services

On March 23, President Ramaphosa announced that South Africa will take “nationwide lockdown” measures for a period of 21 days starting from March 26, 2020.

In order to support the South African government’s effort, as well as requested by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, all the consular services including Chinese visa and authentication of the Consulate-General will be closed from March 27 till April 16, 2020.

It is a temporary measure to cope with the current pandemic situation. A further notice will be issued when services are resumed. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
