Consul General Mr. Lin Jing:

On behalf of the University of the Western Cape in South Africa, I would like to extend my warm congratulations and sincerest wishes to the People's Republic of China on its 71st national day. My sincerest wish is South Africa and China will continually develop our countries' friendship, promote greater development of bilateral ties and bring more benefits for the two counties and its peoples.

I deeply appreciate that the University has been able to grow a strong tie with the People's Republic of China, as evidence by its establishment of the Confucius Institute and very recently, from you, in the form of China-South Africa Health Science Scholarship that will greatly benefit our students and staff. I convinced that we will continue growing this friendship to our mutual benefit. Again, my warm congratulations on your country's National Day. Enjoy the celebration.
