1. From August 9th 2017 onwards,ordinary passports holders in Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Northern Cape Provinces should submit their Chinese Visa applications at the Cape Town Office of the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in Johannesburg.

2. Holders of diplomatic or service (official) passports, or applicants qualified for the Chinese diplomatic, courtesy, service visas, may still submit their applications directly to the Chinese Embassy and Consulate Generals in South Africa.
